Biography
Andrew McClelland's Somewhat Accurate History of Pirates (1550-2017)

Hoist the mainsail! Walk the plank! Eat the lime!

With one hand on his book of comedy and the other chopped off and replaced with a hook, Professor McClelland shows you that when it comes to Pirates, you know nothing!
The truth is funnier than fiction.

Fortunate enough to attend one of the few universities in the world that offers a course in Pirate History, Andrew McClelland (comedian and qualified history teacher) is in a unique position to tell you all the things you never knew that you wanted to know about pirates. A history lecture with multi-media aplenty, including slides, animation and sea-shanty karaoke,

A Somewhat Accurate History will teach you exactly how to fall afoul of Australia's strict maritime laws.

A former Raw Comedy National Finalist (2002), Andrew toured the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2002 as part of a showcase of young Australian comics at the infamous Gilded Balloon.

Andrew McClelland is a busy beaver who will one day make someone a fine pelt. He has performed in the past five Melbourne Comedy Festivals and is a graduate of Melbourne University Comedy and Law Revues. "A Somewhat Accurate History…" premiered at the 2003 Melbourne Fringe where it was a total 100% sell-out and received the Special Commendation Award For Comedy and has just completed a seson at the Adelaide Fringe.

Andrew also recently won the SYN FM Best Breakfast Radio Team Award for his witty banter and droll asides.
